This story began as an escape, grew into a world, and eventually became something I wanted to share with anyone who has ever needed somewhere else to disappear for a while.
Rune of Protection follows Matoaka, a woman raised among ancient creatures who has spent her life hidden beneath another name. When violence forces a power she was never taught to wield to the surface, the secrets surrounding her begin to unravel.
